When does wine ship? Shipments from Cúrate Wine Club are sent between the 1st and 5th of each month, and you’ll receive an e-mail notification when it is ready to ship. All shipments will be sent via UPS Ground. 

How do I change my shipping preference? You may change your shipping preference (direct ship or pick up) at any time. Simply update your preference by using our online account management tool, emailing info@curatewineclub.com or calling 828.630.0330.

How does pickup of wine club orders work?  If you opt for pick up, shipping costs are eliminated entirely. You may pick up your wine at the La Bodega by Cúrate during regular business hours between the first and 15th of the month. You will receive an email notification with pick up details (location, dates, times) prior to each shipment. If wine has not been picked up by the 15th of the month, we will ship it to you for our regular $10 flat rate. 

How frequently will I be billed and for how much?The Cúrate Spanish Wine Club consists of one 3-bottle shipment per month. You will be billed an amount totaling between $80-$100 each month, depending on the price of the wines included. There is no membership fee for the club. Your credit card will be charged at the time of each shipment for the following:

  • Three bottles of Spanish wine
  • Tax (where applicable)
  • Shipping ($10)

Is my wine club membership transferable or can a wine club membership be gifted? Your Cúrate Spanish Wine Club membership belongs to you exclusively and cannot be transferred to another party. While a wine club membership cannot be gifted, electronic gift cards can be sent to purchase wine from the website separately from the club. Please ensure the recipient is in a state than can receive wine from the wine club (see map below).

Can I use my discount to purchase additional bottles of wine? You can enjoy your wine club discount (10% off 6 bottles or more) two ways: purchasing online at www.curatewineclub.com, or visiting us in person at La Bodega by Cúrate. This discount does not apply dine-in or takeout services from Cúrate Tapas Bar.

How do I cancel my membership? By joining you commit to receiving a minimum of two wine club shipments. You may cancel your membership at any time after receiving these two shipments by sending an email to info@curatewineclub.com. Please notify us a minimum of 7 days before the next shipment to avoid being charged.

Will you ship wine to my state? We are currently able to ship wine within North Carolina, and to the following states: California, Connecticut, Florida, Idaho, Louisiana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, Washington DC, West Virginia, Wyoming

Do I have to be present when the wine shipment arrives? State laws require an adult signature for delivery. It is recommended to use a business address for your deliveries if you do not anticipate being present to receive them.

 What happens if I miss the delivery and the order gets re-shipped?  Look for an email from us asking you how you would like to proceed. You will have the option to pick up your shipment at La Bodega by Cúrate, have us ship to a different address, or hold your shipment for a later dateIf wine needs to be reshipped. For wine club members, please inform us via email at info@curatewineclub.com or via phone at least seven days prior to the first of the month if you (or another adult) will be unavailable to receive your wine.

How does shipping work? If you choose to have your wine shipped directly to your door, you’ll be charged a $10 flat rate shipping on each shipment for club members, and a $15 flat rate for non-members. All shipments will be sent via UPS Ground. All non-club orders will be shipped within 1 business day, and an email will be sent to you with tracking information.
