ABOUT THE WINE: Martinsancho. The name of a plot of 200 year old verdejo vines preserved as a political statement during the Franco era. Angel Rodriguez. Winegrower credited for preserving this indigenous Spanish varietal and honored by King Juan Carlos for his efforts. And the wine? It’s more than a piece of history.  Made from grapes grown without synthetic pesticides, fertilizers and herbicides in the vineyard.

TASTING NOTES: It’s herbaliciously crisp, medium textured with pear and mountain floral notes.
