APPELATION: Getariako Txakolina
VARIETALS: 40% Hondarrabi Zuri / 60% Hondarrabi Beltza
ABOUT THE WINE: Founded in the 1925, making Txakoli for 4 generations in a very traditional manner. A blend of 40% Hondarrabi Zuri and 60% Hondarrabi Beltza. The red Hondarrabi Beltza grapes macerate for 2 days before the pressing, resulting in the light pink hue. Fermented and aged (very briefly) in stainless steel tanks and bottled unfined, slightly filtered, and with low SO2, (~45ppm) preserving the low ABV.
TASTING NOTES: Natural spritz, totally refreshing. Pale rose with glossy hints. Strong fruity aromas in the nose, along with mineral, slightly saltly hints. Pleasant and fresh on the palate. Well- integrated acidity With a slight carbonic touch, lingering finish and agreeable aftertaste.
