VINTAGE: 2020
APPELATION: El Terrerazo
VARIETALS: 73% Bobal, 15% Garnacha, 12% Syrah
ABOUT THE WINE: Organic viticulture at 800 meters altitude where traditional farming meets modern techniques in this young wine from Mustiguillo. The varieties are vinified separately and undergo malolactic in a mixture of oak and stainless steel. The final blend spends 11 months in French oak. Organic.
TASTING NOTES: Deep in color with an intriguing nose of black fruits, violets, cedar and black pepper. The fleshy dark fruit flavors of blackberry and black currant are lifted by brink mineral acidity (this is where those limestone soils come through) and fine tannins. Leaves you on a nice sweet and spicy finish. Blackberry, violet, black pepper, cedar.
PAIRING: Cheesy mushroom toast
