Experience some of the Curate crew's personal picks for warmer weather! Nothing says spring like rosé – although we say drink rosé all year round! Also included is a very special Albariño that is only produced in the best vintages. Last, we’ll finish up with a Garnacha from Navarra, which is delicious with a little chill on it. These wines would be a perfect addition to a picnic, boat ride, beach day, or cookout!
Granbazán Albariño 2015
D.O. Rías Baixas
Granbazán Don Álvaro de Bazán
Intense yellow wine with bright reflections. The nose will remind you of the sea breeze, chamomille flowers, white chocolate, dates and yellow fruits like mirabelles and papaya. Powerful palate with a balanced acidity.
Very saline with a persistent finish. This wine pairs beautifully with Spanish pulpo – grilled octopus with paprika.
Bodegas Olivares Rosado 2020
Made with hand harvested grapes, with the first juice released after loading the garnacha grapes into the tanks, so called “mosto flor,” that holds very fragrant aromas. On the nose, you’ll find floral and red fruits and a fresh, balanced, fruity flavor profile. Fermented at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks. Serve chilled and pair with fresh spring flavors like a pea and mint salad.
Viña Zorzal Garnacha 2020
Ruby red wine with high clarity. Clean, high intensity aromas of red fruits like raspberry, strawberry, red cherry, as well as black pepper and earthy notes. Dry and fresh on the palate with medium body. We recommend serving chilled, and it makes a great pair accompaniment with small plates like jamón serrano and string beans.
